It has nearly been a week since my last post, (starting off well I see) and I have nothing! Think Bron, broni, bonkey, bonbon THINK!!
Ok, so last night I ran the most epic of epic races (in my opinion) in the middle of the ever so dangerous Johannesburg wait for it..... at night. I must admit, I was slightly grumpel stiltskins in the beginning after arriving 4 hours early in the cold wet and windy weather. Look, I was not built for these sort of weather conditions they turn me into some gargoyle from the dark ages. The only thing keeping me warn was a plastic poncho type thing (not ideal but ever so grateful) But I am glad to say I stuck it out and boy oh boy am I glad I did.
There were fireworks, national anthem singing, drums, dancers, people cheering us on through the streets, children filled with excitement and best of all no rain and noooo wind. I ran well, thank you for telepathically asking. It was a close second JOKES! Gosh the top guys were coming in at 27min for 10km not sure of my time but I will blurt it out when get the mail.
Peace out you!
